The Naru Church we hope to build together.
Christ alone is the head of this church. Prayer and Scripture come before our own planning, and all of us — the ones who planted it, the ones who have served longest, the ones who have given most — look to Him together.
We want the gospel — the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ — at the center of this church. And we hope the joy of Sunday carries into the rest of the week, so that honesty and faithfulness at home and at work become worship too.
In Christ we are all part of one body. Our roles and gifts differ, but no one here matters more than anyone else. Every position exists to serve, and we respect one another and stand side by side.
Our finances and our decisions are open for anyone to see. We report giving regularly and in plain language, we decide important things together, and a set portion of the budget goes to our neighbors and our community.
We gather in the freedom and love of the gospel. We hope this is a place where tired people find rest, and we will look after one another and walk together all the way.
Come worship with us and share life with us — and let's make the story of Naru a beautiful one, together.
